Email Checker AI is built to serve a wide range of users fairly, from developers testing small projects to businesses validating large email lists. To keep the system stable and prevent harm, we enforce strict policies against abuse. Abuse refers to any use of the Service that violates the Terms of Service, applicable laws, or the trust of our community. Understanding what counts as abuse and the consequences helps everyone enjoy a safer, more reliable platform.
Abuse can take many forms. A common example is using Email Checker AI as part of spam or phishing operations. Our service is designed to validate email addresses, not to support unsolicited email campaigns or fraud. If we detect patterns suggesting your account is being used to send or facilitate spam, your access may be suspended immediately. Abuse also includes attempts to harvest or resell data, misuse the API beyond fair limits, or engage in activity that could disrupt or overload our servers.
Technical abuse is another concern. This includes trying to circumvent rate limits, deliberately flooding the system with excessive requests, or reverse engineering the Service. Such behavior puts strain on the platform and can degrade the experience for other users. Our monitoring systems are designed to detect unusual traffic patterns, and when abuse is identified, we may throttle requests, block specific IP addresses, or disable entire accounts.
We also take legal and ethical standards into account. If your use of the Service is connected to activities that violate applicable laws, such as identity theft, data scraping without consent, or fraudulent marketing, we reserve the right to block access without notice. Likewise, if your actions conflict with our ethical guidelines — for example, if the Service is used to harass individuals or misrepresent organizations — you risk permanent suspension.
When abuse is detected, our response depends on the severity and nature of the issue. In mild cases, such as an accidental breach of fair use limits, we may simply throttle your requests or send a warning. For more serious cases, like repeated violations, IP-level blocks, or attempts to hack the platform, the response will be immediate suspension or permanent account termination.
Importantly, if we close your account due to abuse, you are not eligible for a refund. Refunds are only granted if accounts are blocked for reasons outside of user misconduct. This policy discourages misuse and ensures refunds remain available for genuine cases.
We reserve the right to block or throttle not just individual accounts but also IP ranges, organizations, or networks. This ensures that coordinated abuse attempts cannot affect the integrity of our service. These protective measures allow us to maintain a reliable system for the majority of users who rely on Email Checker AI for legitimate, lawful, and ethical purposes.
